Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have resulted in power cuts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were wounded while local people in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and dealt with problems to water systems, according to municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a separate Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, based on information from regional authorities.

Russian forces has increased assaults on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has demanded "concrete actions" from allies to increase pressure on Russia.

"The necessity is not window dressing but strong steps - from the United States, European nations and the Group of Seven - in providing air defence systems and implementing restrictions," was stated in a public message.

Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty missiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were striving to fix the damage.

A wave of strikes damaged power facilities and residential structures in Kyiv.

Five out of the nine people hurt in the strikes on the capital have been taken to hospital, per statements from city authorities.

Regional authorities said the city experienced intense attacks during nighttime hours. A minor died and three other people were wounded.

The attacks succeed periods of aerial attacks in the region, portions of which are occupied by invading troops.

The entire country is on alert for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are more difficult to identify.

Authorities told journalists that Russia was deliberately attempting to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already disrupting energy systems.

Authorities confirmed energy workers and government agencies were preparing for further attacks.
